Cereal Change Up!



Love cereal?
Why not eat the healthiest version of it you can create (without it tasting like cardboard!)


It's time for a Cereal Change Up!


Instead of cereal as the base, we will use fruit.  I'm going with a banana and a pear today.  Feel free to use anything you like: raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, apples, etc.


Once you have placed your fruit into the bowl, then add a scoop of your cereal on top.
I am having Ezekiel Sprouted Grain Cereal!  It's my favorite.  I also added in some organic raisins on my own - I just poured the raisins right into the box and shook it up.  I'm also a huge fan of their sprouted grain English Muffins.  You can usually find them in the freezer section of Whole Foods or another health food market.


YUM.  A little goes a long way, so just add a half cup to 3/4 cup on top of your fruit.


Now, I need to make some almond milk.  It's really easy! Just take about 3/4 cup of raw almonds and put them in your blender.


Add twice as much spring water and a pinch of sea salt.


Blend for at least a full minute.  




TA DAAAA!!!!!! Fresh almond milk!


Pour some onto your cereal, then mix it all together, and ENJOY!




Now that's a much healthier breakfast than "just" a bowl of cereal if you ask me.
